Frequently Asked Questions

  • We are brothers -- Louie and Joe Skaradek. We played everything from Dungeons & Dragons to Micronauts, read Marvel and DC comics, and ran around with Grandmother sewn costumes and padded weapons to our forts in the woods. We frequented local comic, game and toy shops, and cultivated a deep respect and appreciation for playability and the art of all things fantasy and role-playing. The creativity that was developed as children has matured into this unique Little Empire. Using our individual talents, we are creating the types of gaming accessories that we, and so many like us, enjoyed as kids. We pour our love of gaming, toys and art into every product that we design and create.

  • The buildings and dice towers you see are designed in Adobe Illustrator and cut on a Glowforge from medium density fiberboard. Each piece is test-fitted to make sure it will come together as a fantastic building. Cast pieces are first sculpted in Sculpy III. Rubber molds are then created, and each piece is hand cast with a 2 part polyurethane epoxy.

  • Wood glue or super glue (wood glue recommended), razor blade, sand paper, pencil, a small rubber mallet to knock the pieces together.

  • For buildings and dice towers, any acrylic craft paint for wood is fine. For accessories and dice holders (made with epoxy), you're best-off using a primer first, then miniature paint from a game store.

  • Louie - Azul, Tiny Towns, Boggle, Betrayal at Baldurs’ Gate, and D&D.

Joe - Infinity, Wrestling Warriors (self made game), D&D.
